Padauk Temple Blocks
The padauk playing surface on the Rustic Percussion Temple Blocks offer a sound quality that traditional, full birch temple blocks cannot replicate. Padauk is a tone-wood that features a long and straight grain structure allowing for unmatched resonance, articulation, and sound production at all dynamic levels. It also gives each hand-made set a beautifully unique, one of a kind look. Each block is mounted on a solid maple support bar and is attached with small rubber washers allowing for optimal vibration and a full sound. Ideally played with a medium/soft rubber mallet, Rustic Percussions’ Padauk Temple Blocks are perfect for any chamber, concert, or orchestral setting.
Mallet Rack
Rustic Percussion’s Mallet Rack was designed with the stage in mind and serves as an appealing alternative to the metal options currently available. Our rack will fit up to 10 pairs of your favorite timpani or keyboard mallet, is constructed with the finest sourced Walnut, and features Maple posts that are coated in clear plastic to help eliminate any unwanted noise when hanging your mallets.
Purple Heart Planks
The Rustic Percussion Rebonds Planks is a set of five pitched planks that are perfect for Rebonds B and other contemporary percussion literature. This is the ideal product to use to avoid damaging other instruments due to the intense nature of the piece. Falling sound wise between temple blocks and wood blocks, planks make a great addition to your collection.
White Ash Slapstick

Log Drums
Rustic Percussion’s Log Drums, much like our Temple Blocks, are the only drums made with a Padauk playing surface and are paired with a 9ply Baltic Birch resonating chamber. With the use of a Padauk top, you can expect the sound to have a full warm tone and rich earthy sound quality, while the birch chamber helps to make sure it not overly resonate and creates a nice even decay.
